How do I know what measurements to take?

To determine your measurements, grab a tape measure and take down these measurements in centimetres and refer to the size chart.

  • Bust/Chest: Measurement taken from the fullest part of the breast with your bra on or over the nipple.
  • Waist: Measurement taken from the smallest part of your waist, a little above your belly button.
  • Hips: Whilst standing with your feet together measure the widest part of the hips and bottom.

My Measurements do not match the size chart, I don't know which size to pick?

I get it, on-line shopping can be really stressful when it comes to picking the right size. As all pieces are made to order simply add your bust, waist and hips measurements in the notes section upon check out to get the best fit. 

Do I need to wash my purchases on arrival?

All vintage fabric has been pre washed before it hits the cutting table but light stains and discolouration can appear (I do my best to check for imperfections before I start cutting).

Yes, linen does need to be pre washed before your first wear and will have a small (less thank 4%) amount of natural shrinkage.

 

Can I get the up-cycled totes and accessories wet?

Yes, you can. The items from the up-cycle, basics and accessories collection are made using curtain fabric and cotton vintage fabric so it can get wet. For the first wash put it through a cold washing machine cycle and hang out to dry with your everyday washing.

Do you ship worldwide?
YES WE DO.

Shipping is calculated using the Australian Post shipping services, however if you spend over $150 shipping will be FREE. The items will be posted via registered post as to ensure your purchase gets to you in the same condition it leaves the shop. Please allow for up to 10 business days for delivery, unless notified otherwise.

For all international buyers shipping fees are calculated via location and through the guidance of Australia Post. If you spend over $250 shipping will be FREE. Please note Desert Lily Vintage will not be liable for unreceived express parcels once they have been dispatched.
